Munarra Youth Futures is a new project of the Rumbalara Football and Netball Club to

Engage kids’ passion for sport in order to
    nurture their dreams
    their success at school
    their careers

It will leverage the young people's passion for sport and their relationships with good role models at the Club to improve their own and their family's engagement in education. Our goal is to nurture their aspirations, confidence and competencies to produce improved educational and life outcomes.

Based on an agreement between the young people, their parents, the Club and their school, young people will be supported in
o       Sports training
    §      Provide high-quality weekly sport coaching and strengthening 
o       Affirmation of Culture and Identity
    §      Provide after school and weekend activities including arts and personal development
o       Trips and camps
    §      Stage trips and camps during school holidays
    §      Training trips to AFL and Netball Australia clubs and events
o       Sports kit
    §      Supply sports clothing and equipment kits
o       School support
    §      Provide sporting role models as mentors at school
    §      Provide support with step-by-step achievement of goals
o       Jobs and apprenticeships
    §      Career counselling
    §      Apprenticeship opportunities
    §      Job opportunities (part-time after-school work as well as full-time post-school jobs)
o       Club values and the code of conduct
    §      Foster Club values (respect, integrity, determination, loyalty, passion) and a disciplined Code of conduct
