A partnership with RFNC is much more than sponsorship, it is an investment in making Australia a better place for all Australians. As Michael Long famously said, "This is not about White Australia or Indigenous Australia — this is about ALL Australia... and about creating Unity".

What it means to partner with Rumba
A partnership with Rumba is about passion and energy and success! Fundamentally your choosing to partner with Rumba means the Indigenous youth of the Goulburn Valley have a brighter future.
We appreciate that there are many worthy causes in which people and organisations can find an opportunity to make a difference in Australia. However, a partnership with Rumba, now, presents a unique moment to make rapid improvements to Indigenous livelihoods in the Goulburn Valley. Factors that underpin this opportunity are:
- Outstanding intergenerational Indigenous leadership;
- Excellent governance — RFNC is incorporated under the Association Incorporation Act 1981, is constituted under the model rules and has a nine person Board with the diversity of skills and experiences to deliver success;
- Strong financial management with timely, accurate and independently audited acquittals and reports and an extensive track record of delivering against performance measurements;
- The highly developed regional economy including excellent infrastructure.
We also acknowledge there are many considerations in a decision to invest, here are some aspects of Rumba to help in that process:
- The business case — The Access Economic report for Reconciliation Australia demonstrated that Closing the Gap on Indigenous disadvantage would deliver a $10 billion annual improvement (1% of GDP) across the economy for the advantage of all Australians. The Access Economics report for the Business Council of Australia demonstrated that Closing the Gap on Indigenous disadvantage in the Goulburn Valley would deliver a $60 million annual improvement across the regional economy for the advantage of all Goulburn Valley community members.
- Product placement and brand exposure — in hosting the RFNC, the Shepparton Soccer Club, the Murray Bushrangers U18 TAC Cup team and many dignitaries such as Her Excellency the Governor General, the Hon Quentin Bryce, AO, athletes such as Kathy Freeman and Eyvonne Goulagong and many Ministers and Parliamentarians, the RFNC grounds is second to none in connecting with all sections and levels of the community;
- Corporate social responsibility and reputation enhancement — overcoming disadvantage, social justice and closing the gap outcomes.
In good company
The RFNC would like to acknowledge our existing partners, without whom we would simply not be able to perform the critical role we do. We are particularly grateful to the following organisations for their ongoing support:
