Our Vision
Our vision is: “to strengthen the spiritual and emotional well-being of our people, promote recreation and enhance public understanding of and reconciliation with our culture”.
RFNC has the following aims:
* to develop and strengthen the skill level of Aboriginal footballers and netballers;
* to become one of the leading sporting clubs in Australia, providing both sporting and social opportunities for the Goulburn Valley Indigenous communities;
* to strengthen the emotional and spiritual well-being of the Indigenous community by promoting recreation and enhancing public understanding of and reconciliation of the Indigenous culture;
* to build and improve links with non-Indigenous businesses, organisations and the broader community in the name of reconciliation;
* to bring communities together through a positive identity for Indigenous people.
Apart from fielding four football and eight netball teams in the Murray Football League, the Club also undertakes a range of programs to fulfil its commitment to achieving its broader social agenda. These programs include healthy lifestyles, leadership, employment, tobacco, the Academy of Sport, Health and Education, and suicide prevention.
